The Life

On Friday Avery went and very excitedly spent the night at grammie and grandpa's house which left mommy and daddy a night home to hang out with Jack. Well right in the middle of dinner Jack decided pass out on daddy. Doesn't he seem content, I wish I had it so hard.

A Few Pictures From the Zoo

Last Friday we took the kids to the Zoo on Chris's Furlough day. It was a lot of fun since we haven't been there in a while. We tend to go see the same animals whenever we go the elephants (including the baby elephant sorry no pictures), flamingos, penguins and birds. We let Avery pick were she wants to go, maybe some day we will make it to see all the animals.

Conversations With Jack

Jack has become a chatty fellow, making happy noises and laughing when he is in a good mood. And instead of immediately starting to scream when he is displeased, he has begun to grumble and complain, as if to provide fair warning for the coming storm.

A few weekends ago on a rainy Sunday Chris decided to take some picture of the kid as they played.

This second picture is of a drawing that Avery did a while ago. She has never been into drawing no matter how much I've tried to model it. Well she has recently shown an interest in learning to draw Rosie. So the picture is of her dog Rosie, I told her to draw a oval for her body, a circle for her head, four lines for her legs and a tail. I think it turned out pretty good!
