Swingin'

I put Avery in her swing this afternoon, and decided to take her picture. As you can see, she thought it was a wonderful idea.

Funny Mommy

Sometimes things strike Avery as very amusing, as the sudden transformation in these two photos attest. One moment barely hanging on to consciousness, one moment laughing at funny mommy.

Shots

Avery got her 2 month shots today, and didn't enjoy it very much. We didn't either, and it was made worse by the 45 minute wait in the exam room. Avery is normally a very happy baby in the morning, but after 45 minutes of laying around just before breakfast 2, anyone would be grumpy. And just as she got some food in her, the shot lady came in and we had to interrupt her.

She slept most of the day when we got home, and then Megan discovered she had a fever. But after a few doses of medicine (which she slurped up with vigor) she was feeling much better, with her colorful bandages on her sturdy little thighs.

Conversations with Avery

Avery has become very talkative of late, making all sorts of happy noises when she is in a good mood, and a wide range of reminders that she is hungry or wet, etc.

Happy Thanksgiving

At grandma and grandpa's house for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!

Smile

Avery is now able to smile back at you when she is happy. It melts my heart!

First Denim Dress

Avery is wearing her first denim dress thanks to her grandma pie. It is still a little big on her but she will grow into it quickly.
