A Walk in the Woods

We went to Dillon, and took the super stroller through the woods. Avery seemed to enjoy it, more or less. Avery likes to drink out of Megan's little water jug.

First Time in the Pool

Megan bought a small kiddie pool for Avery, and Wednesday we tried it out. She enjoyed it, splashing and waving, and then investigating the grass outside the pool.

The Other Grandpa

Avery's other grandpa came to visit for a few days last week, and she had him walking her around too.

Ewww.

Avery does not like blueberries. Not even a little bit.

First, the what we call the puss face. She snorts when she makes it, too.

Then, the blueberries.

After the blueberry episode, she gave the dog her Zwieback toast. Smugly.

The Great Escape

Our ever mobile lass likes the front door, heading toward it as fast as she can when we open it. And if both it and the screen door are open, then off she goes into the wild blue yonder.

Goodbye Bumper

Now that Avery can pull herself up in her crib, we figured we would lower her crib and get rid of the bumper, since it wasn't doing that much good. I got a few last photos of her playing with it before we untied it and got it ready for the basement.

It was gone for one night. While she can pull it aside and stand on it, at least it keeps the pacifier from hitting the floor four times a night!

Walker

Avery is getting really good at walking around the house while holding your hands. She is to the point now where she tries to let go of one of your hands and walk with little assistance. So I pulled out a walker that she got for christmas so she can start using that to help her walk. It moves a little fast for her but I'm sure within a few days she will have the hang of it.
