The past few weekends have been very busy (really ever since football started) but I am SO glad to say that now this past weekend was the last home game for Ohio State which means Chris doesn't have to shoot them anymore.
Two weekends ago I took the kids to the Veterans Day parade. At first Avery didn't want to go but once she saw a few horses and realized that they were throwing candy from most of the things that past she started to enjoy herself much more!!! We also found some time to play together, give the dog a bath and had the cousins over for a pajama party. All the kids and me wore our p.j.'s and took turns feeding each other. Then we popped popcorn and watched the Muppets. Fun was had by all!
We carved a pumpkin for halloween. Avery's interest has decreased even more since last year. She didn't really want to touch the guts, and used the spoon to pull out a single seed before losing interest.
If I saw myself in that wig I would punch myself in the face.
Jack does NOT like wearing wigs.
It was trick or treat night tonight. I got out early and we took Avery and Jack out for a little while. Avery was a princess and Jack was a baseball player.
Avery wanted to be a horse for halloween, which means she could use the one we got her last year, and save a few bucks. Since we had a horse around, we gave Jack a pony ride.
It's so hard for me to believe that Avery is 3 and Jack is 7 months already. I look back at pictures and it's like, where did all the time go? Avery is always saying such grown up things and Jack is talking up a storm saying dada and mama (not at us, but still) with lots of other sounds and is about to crawl. He can sit up, is always smiling and loves his sister (sometimes the feeling is mutual).
