Art Museum

We went to the Columbus Museum if Art last weekend, where we did crafts and had a grand old time.

After, we went out for pizza at Hound Dogs, which, despite being a bit of a dive, is out favorite pizza place.

Trail mix Sunday

Mommy fired up the oven to make some trail mix with the kids this morning,  and they got to choose what goes in. Also making some roasted chick peas, which should be good.

Coloring a butt roll

I grabbed a butt roll from work a while back, the leftover from a massive roll of newsprint from printing the paper. It sat in the basement for ages until I pulled it out for Jack and I to color on.

Breakfast

Last week (or maybe the week before) on Friday Jack and I went out for breakfast.  Who knew Bob Evans would be so busy at 10:30 in the morning?  During our wait I taught him tic tac toe. He doesn't like to lose at that, either.

Valentine's Day

Mommy and daddy helped Jack and Avery make Valentine's Day boxes for school. I was making Avery's Titanic box and trying to figure out how many stacks it had. "Four" she said. "But one was a dummy."

Train watchin' buddy

I heard the train one Sunday not long ago, and I convinced Jack to go watch it with me. It was colder than I thought, so I let him wear my sweat shirt.

The train in question was headed south through the scenic splendor of South Zanesville, hauling garbage. So much for the romance of the rails.

Grandpa came to visit last week, and painted with Avery. That night it snowed like the dickens, and we went out and played the next evening.

In the above photo, Jack is licking the boogers dripping down his face. Just so you know.
