Bath Time

When Avery is happy, and not too tired, she enjoys bath time.

Moving Along

Avery has become a pro at scooting herself around the room to get what she wants. She lays on her back and pushes herself with the heals of her feet. Just recently she has begun rocking back and fort when on all fours.

Cousin Ann

Chris's cousin Ann came to visit on Saturday afternoon for dinner. She was in Columbus for a week putting on a show for her theater company. This was the first time that Avery and her met, they had a great time playing together.

Toot toot!

Carrots

Avery has moved from rice cereal to solids, starting with the doctor recommended orange foods. Like carrots. She likes to help mommy feed her, and snuck her fingers into the jar.

Baby Balloons

Avery and I went to her aunt Shannons baby shower and Avery got to take home some balloons. Although they only lasted a day or so she loved playing with them!

Doggy

Avery loves her doggy. She beams whenever she hears or sees Rosie. Just recently we have been letting her pet the dog and she laughs with excitment.

Lazy Afternoon

On my day off of work Avery and I spent the day playing and having a great time. One of her new favorite toys is the small piano. She likes to pound on it and make lots of noise in the process.

Chris came home for lunch and some play time with his daughter.

Bounce

Avery and Avery

On Easter Avery got to meet another Avery, a pretty little girl who was born on the same day (in the same hospital) as our Avery! They seemed to hit it off during their brief meeting.

Happy Easter!

Avery was just as interested in the blinking red light on the camera as the tissue paper and present inside it.

Shots. Again.

Avery got her 6 month shots on Friday. She did a wonderful job at the doctor's office, not fussing a bit, giggling even, as she was poked and prodded.

And of course we rewarded her for her good behavior by poking her with a needle four times.

She forgave us though, even though she was running a fever by bed time, where she posed on her changing table, showing off her bandages.

Rollin' Along

I was hanging out with Avery a few mornings ago (Monday, I think) and I put her down on her quilt to play. She started on her back...

cocked her leg...

and set about rolling over...

to her belly.

Food!

Friday we gave Avery some rice cereal. Megan mixed it up with some b-milk, and Avery went to town.
