Back To School

I started back to school this week and Avery has been with my dad. She has been doing great and having lots of fun with her grandpa. I on the other hand have been sad to leave her each morning and call to check on her at least four times a day.

A Trip To The Zoo

We decided to take a a little trip to the zoo before I have to return to work :(
Avery had a lot of fun seeing all of the animals and all of the other kids.

Avery liked the elephants a lot. Probable because they were so big, moving around and easy to see.


Avery enjoyed the colorful fish and watched them swimming around for awhile.




She didn't understand why she couldn't pick-up the rocks in the water. It was pretty funny to watch her try.

When we were in the Kangaroo exhibit Avery felt like giving her daddy a kiss.



She enjoyed it more than he did.



Overall I think Avery had a great time, I know I did!!

The Fair

We took Avery to the fair yesterday and she had lots of fun. She saw lots of animals but she loved the horses the best! Her face lit up when she saw one walking by and she was hooked from that point on.

Grandpa Plays With The Cat

Yes it is true, Avery's grandpa was playing with the cat and it's toy in an attempt to bring the cat closer to Avery. I know it is hard to believe but I saw it with my own eyes!! All documentation was destroyed but I have witnesses for all those who don't believe.

Avery's great-grandma has been in town for a week and Avery has enjoyed seeing her.

Curls?

I've noticed lately that Avery's hair has gotten thick and frizzy in the back and the other day I thought I saw some curl. Maybe it was just a fluke, I hope not.

Chris's new camera came in this big box and it has been Avery's favorite toy now for over a week. She loves to climb things especially her mommy and daddy, so here she is climbing daddy to get to the top of the box. She did it all by herself!

Avery got an adorable new dress a few days ago, and we tried it on for a trip to see great grandma.

Cat!

Avery loves cat. She loves to say 'cat' as well.

Cousins

Avery's great-grandma is in town so the whole family got together and Avery got to see her cousins again. Although she likes to look at them and seemed slightly interested when they cried she was much more interested in playing with the cat at her grandparents house.
