Halloween!

All Sox fans feel like that some times.

Princess!

If I saw myself in that wig I would punch myself in the face.

Jack does NOT like wearing wigs.

It was trick or treat night tonight. I got out early and we took Avery and Jack out for a little while. Avery was a princess and Jack was a baseball player.

Horsey!

Avery wanted to be a horse for halloween, which means she could use the one we got her last year, and save a few bucks. Since we had a horse around, we gave Jack a pony ride.

Our boy Jack

Some photo of our boy Jack. For some reason, Zweiback toast is extinct, so we found a substitute. Equally as messy.

Growing Up

It's so hard for me to believe that Avery is 3 and Jack is 7 months already. I look back at pictures and it's like, where did all the time go? Avery is always saying such grown up things and Jack is talking up a storm saying dada and mama (not at us, but still) with lots of other sounds and is about to crawl. He can sit up, is always smiling and loves his sister (sometimes the feeling is mutual).

Look at those legs, I love those legs!!!

Family Walk

Last weekend was Chris's first Sunday off since August so we decided to go to Black Hand Gorge for a nice walk in the woods. It was cold but nice to see all the leaves changing colors.

On the way home Avery decided she HAD to wear her scarf and hat, not that she would wear it on the walk.

Check-Ups

We took Avery and Jack for their 3 year and 6 month check-ups last week.
Avery weighed 43 pounds and was 41 inches. The doctor said if you lined 100 kids up her age she would be taller than all of them.
Jack weighed 19 pounds 15 oz and was 26 1/2 inches.

Birthday Weekend

Avery celebrated her third birthday last weekend. We started the weekend with a large box of presents sent from her grandparents in Arizona and as you can see she was very excited and so was Jack (he liked helping and the box). Then on Saturday Avery came down stairs to find a pile of presents and a new bike (thank you great-grandpa). She really liked the bike and sat on it most of the day. Lucky for us the bike has a bell that she also rang ALL DAY LONG! The other present that she seemed to really enjoy was a Cinderella dress that we bought her. She wore it on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (I finally demanded to wash it) On Sunday was her party. This year after much thought she decided on a princess party. When she woke up from her nap she came down stairs and found the house decorated and my cake that I made her, a castle cake to go with the princess theme. She had lots of fun at her party playing with all her friends and family!
