Both mother and daughter are doing very well. Megan came through the c-section with flying colors, and is resting more or less comfortably in the hospital. Avery much prefers her mothers arms to the cradle, and slept there for much of last night.
38 weeks and there won't be any more. Megan is having a c-section Tuesday morning. She is on the edge of toxemia, and since the baby is full term, the doctor said let's go get her.
Today's sonogram was hurried and didn't produce as nice a view of our young lass as the last one a month ago, but did show how much she has grown. She is now estimated at 7 pounds 3 ounces.
