Sugar Rush

After eating her birthday cake Avery experienced her first sugar rush. She attempted headstands, somersaults and tackled her daddy.

Let Her Eat Cake

For Avery's birthday we gave her a small cake for her to enjoy all to herself and that's exactly what she did.

Well Avery did share her cake a little with mommy.








The dog that it was her job to clean Avery up.

Presents!

Wednesday was Avery's first birthday. It is hard to believe she is already a year old. We started festivities by opening some presents before dinner.

Car Seat

We turned the car seat around and Avery is loving it!!



Avery also loves playing paddy-cake with mommy.

Early Birthday

On Sunday the family got together at Uncle Chris' for a early birthday celebration for Grandpa and Avery. Avery was happy to see her cousins and very interested in what they were doing. Here she is trying to share her toys with Audrey.



Uncle Chris and Aunt Shannon got Avery some birthday gifts which at first she really enjoyed climbing on.



Then I showed her how to rip the paper.



Audrey watched.



After she opened the first on she lost interested until she hear the second gift start talking. It sparked her interest.

Later Audrey found a comfortable spot on Grandpa.
