Happy Halloween

For Halloween Avery was a cat. We walked up and down the street with her Elmo pail collecting candy from the neighbors and later helped grandpa and grammie pass out candy at our house.





Yay, Daddy is home!!



Avery got to try a taste of the candy she collected today for her evening snack.

Pumpkin Carving

Avery helped to carved her first pumpkin today. At first she explored the pumpkin and tried to lift it. Then once I got the top off she was hesitant at first but after I showed her what to do she helped me clean all the seeds out (she kept trying to give the seeds to the dog).

Black Hand Gorge

On Sunday we decided to enjoy the beautiful fall day at Black Hand Gorge. It was a perfect day and Avery loved walking around and exploring the outdoors.

Ready for Halloween

Avery is ready for Halloween (although she doesn't understand what is coming). She has her Elmo pal and costume and Grandma even sent her a pumpkin bib and and some Halloween books.

Outside

Today was a beautiful day. Chris, Avery and I went to Dillon State Park, we played outside and went for our nightly walk through the neighborhood with Rosie. I couldn't resist getting some pictures of Avery in this cute dress that Grammie bought her.




Avery likes to play Peek-a-Boo now where she covers her eyes and when you ask her "where did Avery go?" she reveals herself. It's really cute.

Seasame Street.com

Avery loves it when I put her on the computer and go to Seasame Street on-line. She likes to watch me do all the different activities especially when Elmo is involved. Her favorite is Elmo's world when you scroll over Elmo he laughs, it always makes her laugh.

Tumble

Avery took a tumble today, but she is ok. Didn't even cry very much, and wanted to go back outside as soon as we came in. It looks worse than it is. (and a week later, there is no sign of her tumble.)

Party!

We had a little party for Avery's birthday last Saturday (the 28th). She loved her Elmo balloons, and then opened some presents in front of a pretty good crowd.








She didn't want to go into her highchair, but cheered up once the Elmo cake arrived.
