Outside

With the warm weather Avery has spent most of her time outside. Here she is this weekend watching daddy work in the garden. She helped him to dig a hole a little while later using her hands even though it wasn't exactly where he wanted it!

Great-Grandpa and His Dog

Avery's great-grandpa came to visit a few weekend's ago and Avery had a great time playing with his dog Rascal. Rascal is the perfect size for Avery and she really enjoyed following him around the house. Great-grandpa brought presents for Avery including a new red wagon which she has since taken for a ride around the yard, thanks grandpa.

Cookies

Megan made cookies last weekend, and Avery savored the results with a cup of milk, which she shared with her daddy.

Helping

Avery decided to help me clean up the house last weekend, wielding the dustpan.

The Zoo

Last Saturday we went to the Columbus Zoo, where we met up with the cousins.

Avery loved the goats. She had a grand time, and showed no fear whatsoever, getting in close to get an intimate view.

Being a big fan of tigers, she was glad to get to see one. She also liked the bears, too, and the elephant.

Mommy braved the estuary touch and feel pool. She is trying her best to make sure the starfish survives its encounter with our little miss.


After the zoo, we went out for Mexican. She started to eat spoonfuls of salsa. Flushed cheeks and watery eyes are evidence of how much she ate.

She burnt off a little energy near the parking lot, pointing out planes landing in columbus and medical helicopters landing at a nearby hospital.
