Wednesday adventure.

Jack had school on Wednesday, so we dashed off to Tim horton's for breakfast. When we got there, Avery saw a praying mantis, so we had a look. Then we went to Dillon SP while jack was at school.

Horse show

Another horse show. Avery got first out of 10 or so in lead line.

This is her fifth show, her third location to show. She has 2 first places, a second, a 4th and a 5th in lead line and a 4th in showmanship. She has placed every time she has shown. This might be the last show of the season, we will see.

Toothless

Avery lost her first tooth today!!!

Watercolors

Avery and I were painting today during Jack's nap with some watercolors. I asked her what she was making and she says "it's abstract mommy, it's one of my masterpieces, it belongs in an art museum."

Dance.

I came down stairs this morning to find Avery performing in the living room. When I tried to get some video, she objected and went to perform for her mother.

Fair 2011

Backyard visitor

We found a newly hatched cicadia on the grill today, and Avery git a good look at it.

New room

We spent the past week painting the living room, tearing out the old carpet (and then cleaning up the aftermath) and then putting in a new floor. A few details remain, but the room is now livable.
